Funmi is a 2001 graduate of Computer Science from the University of Uyo and a Masters Degree holder in Information Technology (MIT) from University of Lagos.  Olufunmilayo Adefemi is charged with the responsibility of providing seamless, cutting-edge Information and Communications Technology interventions for the organization.

She is a Microsoft Certified Professional, MCP and also a Microsoft Certified System Engineer, MCSE.  She is equally a Microsoft Certified Professional + Internet (MCP+I).

She has worked with some notable insurance companies in time past, before joining Great Nigeria Insurance Plc in 2014. She has at various times attended both local and international management and leadership courses in the course of her career.
