Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of Great Nigeria Insurance Plc is made up of distinguished personalities that have made their mark in their respective fields of endeavor:
Col. Ali Sule Yakasai (Rtd.) graduated from the Bayero University Kano in
1981 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and in 1994 obtained a Master's
degree in Intelligence and International Relations from the University of
Salford.
He was commissioned into the Nigerian Army in 1981 where he was
enlisted in the Intelligence Officer Security Group of the Directorate of
Military Intelligence. He was later made the Deputy Defence Adviser
(Security) at the Nigeria High Commission, London in 1983.
Col Yakasai (Rtd.) has worked in the Directorate of Military Intelligence
under various capacities between 1990 to 2005. He later worked as
Principal Staff Officer/Instructor at the Defence Intelligence School, Abuja
where he was retired in 2008.
He has served as Director–General (Special Services) at the Government
House, Kano in 2012 and member of Sub-Security Committee, APC
Transition Committee in 2015. Col Yakasai (Rtd.) is married and hails from
Kano State.
